"Correspondence" is a modern archaeological investigation.
Hajime Kimura travelled to the region of Torres Vedras, north of Lisbon, famous for its archaeological remains. Walking one of these ancient beaches, Kimura documented the current landscapes and the objects and rubbish he found there during his walks, imagining that this neglected detritus, or the flora and fauna of today, could be the subject of archaeological research in the future and indicating, like an archaeologist, the places, dates and times of their "excavation".
